Welcome to Playmakers Fantasy Football League. This league was started by two experienced fantasy football players with approximately 10 years of combined experience. Cutthroat Pirates and New York Knights were the creators of this league.
What is fantasy football?
A game played by football fans in which participants draft their own team and compete with teams built by others. Scoring systems vary among fantasy football leagues, but most are based on points accumulated by players based on their real-life performance in a game on the same day.
Fantasy Football is a game played by Football fans where one assembles a team of real life NFL players and then accumulates points based on their statistical performance on the field. Leagues can be arranged where the winner is the team with the most total points at the end of the season or by a head to head format (which mirrors the actual NFL) where teams play against each other each week and at the end of the year the team with the best win-loss records wins the league. ...
Playmakers Fantasy Football League is broken into two Divisions. The Crimson Divsion and the Titanium Division. I am a huge Buccaneers fan so this is why I choose these colors, I should have picked Red and Pewter, but I was trying to be unique, and still keep it close to the Buccaneers.
There are 5 teams and 5 owners per Division. Each Division plays every team in there Division twice and they play every team outside their division once. The season is 13 weeks long and runs according with the 13 weeks of the NFL regular season. Week 14 is our Wild Card Playoff games and Week 15 is the Divisional Playoff Championship game. Week 16 is our Super Bowl, Toilet Bowl and the Pro-Bowl game. The top three teams per division advance to the Playoffs with the Best Team in the Division getting a first round bye. The Super Bowl is of course the game of the two best teams per Division fighting it out to be the Super Bowl Champ (pay out is $400. The Toilet Bowl is the worst two teams in the league battling it out (loser bring the beer to next years draft). The Pro-Bowl is where the Crimson and Titanium Divisions form a team each with players from their division, the only rule is one player per team must be represented. These two Divisions battle it out. (The Losing Division brings the buys the Pizza at next years draft).
